Not sure about your estimate of 120 tyres. If you buy a dedicated touring tyre like one of these Schwalbe models, you should get away with a lot fewer - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/SearchResults.aspx?Search=Schwalbe+Marathon&PartnerID=3007&gclid=CLKTmZCE46MCFYKY2AodLHOZ_A
